Competitive results, affordable prices
Now firmly established as one of the country's
leading motorcycle performance tuning specialists,
JHS (James Holland Services) was started in the
mid-1990s by James Holland.
James has worked within the motorcycle industry and
been closely associated with the club and supersport
racing scene for many years. JHS is a family-run
business with a passion for motorcycles that now
spans three generations.
The majority of our work undertaken today consists
of road and track bikes. However, our engineering
and tuning skills originated from our hand-crafted,
bespoke Pre-1965 motocross machines. These bikes
were successfully raced in the 1990s by both James
and the multi-European and World Champion Trials
rider - and our most respected friend - 'Magical
Mick' Andrews.
Today, we race our JHS machines at New Era, MRO
and NG Road Racing, with numerous wins achieved.
In 2008 we ran an independent team in the British
Supersport series, with Fast Bikes Magazine's
Alastair Fagan aboard a Triumph Daytona 675.

We're passionate about road bikes too, and are
unusual as a workshop that offers routine servicing,
maintenance and repair for all types of motorcycle,
delivered by the same skilled race mechanics that
fettle our track machines.
We also operate a thriving mail order parts and
accessories supply service. JHS has an established
local, national & international customer base.
On the racing side of our operation we provide
bespoke engineering, engine building and tuning
services, and we're an approved DynoJet
testing centre.
This provides the means to measure, prove and refine
our tuning techniques for optimum performance;
bearing in mind that optimal performance doesn't
necessarily always mean peak power if it's achieved
at the expense of usable mid-range torque.
Workshop services for all types of bike
Although our reputation for excellence is founded in
our specialist experience with race tuning, JHS
offer the full range of workshop services applicable
to any type of motorcycle, whether for use on road
or track, or both.
JHS aim to continue the steady growth of our
business by offering the highest standards of
service to all motorcyclists in the South West. We
always try to bring the same levels of discipline,
commitment and experience that has made our racing
operation so successful to everything we do, whether
it's a major engine rebuild or simple routine
servicing or tyre replacement.
Above all, JHS strive to offer realistic and
competitive rates, confident that we can exceed the
levels of service offered by main dealers without
fleecing our customers with exorbitant main dealer
prices.
Whatever your requirements,
contact JHS first. Friendly, helpful, professional
and committed to satisfying every one of our
customers, we promise you won't be disappointed.
