The Supertwin is an an uprated version of our Suzuki SFV650-based racing motorcycle.

JHS Racing have a distinguished record of developing competitive racing motorcycles at many levels, including the British Supersport series, record-breaking success at the Manx in 2011 and competing with our Suzuki Supertwin in the 2013 and 2014 Lightweight TT. This race-proven knowledge and experience is applied to every machine that we build.

The Supertwin build is similar to that of the Minitwin and includes most of the same components. The primary difference is that the Supertwin’s engine work is far more extensive to achieve significant power gains, together with higher specification suspension and braking components. The level of spec on these machines can be adjusted up or down according to your budget and specific requirements.

Our Suzuki SFV650 Supertwin racing motorcycles are supplied fully regulation-compliant and ready to race, with aftersales telephone support (during normal office hours) for 1 year.

JHS Racing SFV650 RR Supertwin:

Our Supertwin machines are eligible for Irish racing series, Manx & TT.

The base motorcycle is completely stripped and the frame is modified to suit. JHS Racing billet yokes clamp GSX-R600 forks, which house a K-Tech 25mm cartridge kit. A K-Tech 35mm DDS shock supports the rear and is linked to the JHS Racing swingarm via a revised linkage. Supertwin rules dictate that additional components have to be from the original manufacturer, so GSX-R600 wheels are used and Avon tyres are fitted. An underslung caliper is used for the rear brake, while Brembo calipers from a GSX-R600 supply the front braking power. Hel lines add initial bite and outright stopping power.

Additional modifications include:

  • Lightweight lithium battery
  • JHS Racing bespoke supertwin exhaust
  • JHS Racing clip-ons
  • Air filter
  • Power Commander V with ignition timing control and Autotune
  • Airbox is standard but JHS Racing billet bellmouths are used
  • Throttle bodies bored out to specification

The SFV engine is completely stripped and the following is undertaken:

  • Modified crankcases to aid strength
  • Machined to take an oil cooler
  • Nova close-ratio gearbox
  • JHS Racing con-rods
  • Forged piston kit
  • Cylinder heads are gas flowed in-house
  • Stock valves replaced with flat-face titanium valves
  • Valve spring kit
  • Titanium top collar kit
  • Kent cams
  • Sigma slipper clutch
  • 95-100bhp at the rear wheel
